This is a funny film about a road trip two aging friends make when offered the chance to review restaurants along the way.

A kind of road movie in which two buddies navigate the winding back roads of rural England. Along the way, they talk while impersonating popular celebrities such as Michael Caine, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, etc. However, they're pretty bad…

In Michael Winterbottom’s improvisational roadshow version of "My Dinner With Andre" Coogan and Brydon mostly play themselves as they drive about, going from haute cuisine establishments to rustic pubs while honing their celebrity…

Watched it. Too Long.

Really nice low key but amusing movie...kind of like Sideways.

Fresh, funny and far more engaging than I anticipated. The delete scenes not only comprise another film -- but lend a great deal of insight into the way the film was somewhat improvised into existence.

An entertaining movie that examines the relationship between two middle aged comedians as they travel around England. The movie explores the dynamic between two the two men, as their close quarters forces them to keep the other at a safe…

If you are looking for slap-stick humour don't bother. This is for those who appreciate subtle humour. My friends and I had to pause the movie to laugh our heads off for several minutes during the scene where they are on route in the car…

Rated 1/10. Hate this series. I saw "The Trip To Italy first, which was bad enough. More of the same boring babble in this first movie in this series. Note to myself: Do not bother with "The Trip To Spain", or any subsequent drivel. I…

Brilliant! Best part of the show is the pants-pissingly funny improv in the car between Coogan and Brydon which begins with "Gentlemen, to bed!" I give The Trip four stars.

Genuinely a very funny film- something that sadly is a rarity nowadays in most ' comedies '. Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon have a great comedic chemistry.

Quirky humour and gorgeous looking food and scenery. Not your average buddy road trip movie.

Loved the impersonations, the music and scenery. Wish I could have eaten the dinners along with them. I looked up the Holbreck Ghyll, a restaurant B&B, in the Lake District, where they stay, it's ONLY 350 pounds per night. I'd better start…

As others mentioned, one can't help think of "Sideways" when watching The Trip. Without the chaos and shenanigans of the American film. i felt the film captured the darkness and emptiness of the characters existence. Amazingly talented…

Waited years to see this, I didn't dare buy or Redbox it. I found it to be quite amusing and enjoyed the conflict between ego and happiness. You may have goals but be aware of who you are and enjoy the moments for what they are. And if you…

I was not as enamored of this film as most of the other people who shared comments seem to be. I got tired of the impressions very quickly, did not find myself really caring very much about these characters, and, in general, found the film…

We weren't always sure which actor these guys were mimicking, but it didn't really matter, we both laughed aloud at the film several times. And the food!! Oh, the food! Make sure you have some tasty snacks on hand, because this film sure…

A boring tiresome yack-fest.

I enjoyed this movie very much. I'll never be able to listen to Michael Caine speak without laughing, I'm afraid. I do find these "faux" documentaries, where people are playing themselves, problematic in some ways. I don't know what is…

A subtle but hilarious film, containing the best Michael Caine and Roger Moore impersonations I have ever seen!

I think you need to be an Anglophile to enjoy this movie as many references are British-centric. Some scenes were excellent, some hilarious, some dull and overly long; the ending was very poignant. How much was autobiographical vs.…

The impressions were really good, the scenery was pretty cool, and the food looked pretty yummy. Is that enough for a 2 hour movie? Almost... Really I would like to see some more of their work. It almost seems like hanging out with a…

Enjoyed this film. It did remind me of a couple road trips with my buddies where the other person's amusing traits or stories become a little grating by trip's end. The Trip captures close-quarter traveling very well. The English…

Really enjoyed this one. Great interaction between Coogan and Brydon -- love the dialogue between the two and hearing Brydon recite Wordsworth but wish there had been less imitations of Hollywood figures. Thrilled that they show a bit of…

Hilarious, "Sideways"-esque two-hander that was largely improvised on location by Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon, both playing slyly exaggerated versions of themselves. I found out that they also used the footage to make a 5-part TV…
