"I thought I’d read everything that JoJo Moyes had written, but discovered “The Last Letter from Your Lover” on Libby and devoured it in two days." - Carolyn P.

I really enjoyed this book! I sympathize with the women and I also understand the positions of the men. The older times had women sacrificing their hopes and dreams, to be wives to men they may have loved initially, but through life…

This book needed major editing. I ended up speed reading to get to the end and can't say it was worth it.

Am I reviewing the morality of the characters or the writing style of the story? If it is the former, I'd have to say the book is really adultery not romance and therefore I can't condone it; if on the other hand we're talking about Jo Jo…

Great fun read. I didn’t have a lot of sympathy for th woman who is the main character, but thought the whole book got better when it got to the current times and the person searching for the people who exchanged the letters. A nice twist…

Well written but as is this author's plot style...it is very sad.

An enjoyable, quick read. I've read a few of Moyes' books, and they are all very readable with likeable characters. The ending seemed a bit slow, and then boom, done. I'm looking forward to the Netflix movie.

Such a gifted writer and story teller. Nearly read it in one day!

My decision to read this is because it will be released as a movie staring Shailene Woodley and Felicity Jones later this year. Meyers writes a compelling story that will hopefully turn the tale into a legitimate production and not a…

I wish I could say that I truthfully liked this book, but I can’t. It isn’t that the author isn’t a good writer and she has an interesting story line. She makes it so you want to read on and find out what happens, but the book can…

This was a great story, if not a little bit of a slow read for me. Not one to keep me up wondering about what was going to happen if I didn't read the next chapter, but would be great if ever adapted to the big screen.

This one had me in AGONY and up all night. How two people could miss connecting by mere minutes or threads of communication for YEARS on end! The guilt, the self punishment, the constraints of society in the 1960's.....Honestly, if it…

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Jojo Moyes is a gifted storyteller. Her writing is brilliant and she really knows how to engage her readers. I'm obsessed with her books and I still have 5 more of them to read. The Last Letter…

My third Jojo Moyes book and I am becoming a fan. Love is simple yet so complicated and this book is a truly poignant love story. Couldn't put it down and every page kept me captivated by the characters. For anyone struggling at the…

Whoa...what a concept. I devoured this novel by the author of "Me Before You." I would recommend this and "The Girl You Left Behind" as some of Moyes' stronger books.

I was intrigued by the summary on the book flap of this novel. The plot had many twists that had the reader agonizing for each of the main characters. I highly recommend this novel for romance readers and those who love to explore the…

A nicely done romance, weaving together the 1960's & present day. Some of JoJo's stuff can be uneven, but this a strong novel; the characters are well drawn & believable.

Good book from Jojo. After reading Me Before You I had to go back to read her older stuff. I just love this author! This is a nice romance with a touch of An Affair to Remember. One of the main themes is extra-marital romances but I like…
