“Dozens of people who'd been boo-hooing their eyeballs out an hour earlier were laughing like overcaffeinated hyenas, stuffing their face with a whole week's worth of SQ-rationed food. Dak wondered whether funerals for old people always ended up being such festive affairs.”

I know we're gathered here for a very solemn occasion. Poor Great-Uncle Frankie has gone the way of the dodo bird, soon to rot in peace. Um, I mean, rest in peace.

This is an amazing series about two best friends named Dak and Sera and a boy named Riq who travel time, solve puzzles, and have to work together to prevent history from going off coarse.

Comment
Add a CommentThis was one of the best series I have ever read. I loved the fact that you are learning about history without even realizing it. I would definitely recommend this book.
scary. oo.
Great start to an even better series!
this is such a great book for people that love history and adventure. the writer kind of reminds me of how rick riordan writes.
This was a very interesting book! It has a really cool background and I can't wait to read the second!
Weird topic history is broken, seems like something a history teacher would say. Great series!
how much longer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am like #1 in line
Interesting way to learn history, although reminiscent of the "39 Clues" series.
Solid start to a time travel/help save time series for 8+. Similar style to the 39 Clues series (multiple contributing authors). Not a completely original concept, since something very similar was done by Margaret Peterson Haddix in her Missing series.
I got into this after I heard about it from 39 Clues and am glad that I did!!!!!!! Awesome!!!!!!
