It was outstanding for me for personal reasons - others have been bored with the details. I appreciated the minute details, the doggedness of the author & his researches and the greatest admiration for the continuing search today. If a reader only reads Chapter 7 the book has accomplished wonders. 'Ambiguous loss' has been little recognized by the general public, but of tremendous import to military families or people intimately connected with undefined loss of loved ones.
Good true story--my father fought in those islands in WWII, and I sort of identified with the story. Good story, a bit of a "who dun it"
