A poignant and touching farewell from the greatest white blues singer. A fitting end to almost 50 years of beautiful music. Thank you Gregg.

Truly fabulous album, in my opinion. This is the last album that Gregg Allman made before he died in May last year. Maybe I'm reading to much into it but this feels as if he has some things he wants to say and it feels as if he was happy & accepting of his life & his death. It is very poignant. It's a must have for fans of the Allmans, their bands & entourages.

This is a very fine recording, one of the better releases of 2017,and a fitting way to say goodbye to Gregg Allman, who passed away in 2017. He certainly was a classic rock star, the look, the lifestyle (which is probably why he's gone),and his musical legacy, first with the Allman Brothers Band 1969-1975,and his last two releases,(but not the crap he put out in between,he was married to Cher for a time). If you like this release, please do check out 'Low Country Blues' (2011),another cover album by Gregg which is in my estimation, even better than this one.

I just checked this out on 12/20 and only see one disc (DVD only) in a single-disc case.

Something needs to be done about CRRL's check-in procedure. I know with 110% certainty that I returned two music cds along with a book in the drop box outside on 12/4/17 the day they were due. I made sure of it as I knew others were waiting for it and I did not want to incur an overdue fine. Unfortunately, they have disappeared into thin air and if they don't show up I will be held accountable.

A heartbreaking farewell album by a blues legend. Staring death in the face, Gregg Allman puts down one of the best records of his career with an eclectic and excellent collection of songs, including the haunting original "My Only True Friend". A fine epitaph for a great musician.

I was impressed with this. Allman's versions of Bob Dylan's Going Going Gone" and Jackson Browne's "Song for Adam" are very poignant.
