Sexual Content: Mystique is wearing either nothing or very, very little. Is that what she looks like in the comics?

Another great X-Men adventure!

Enjoyed again. Not about special effects. About trying to get rid of people not like self.
Did not deserve to be this good. Kicked off the comic book genre again.
Interesting.
Great movie! I know little about the X-Men but I still enjoyed the movie. The only bad parts are the out of date special effects and Storm summons her lightning way to slow.
Pretty good. The franchise gets better as it progresses. Some CGI was visibly out-of-date, but overall this was an entertaining and excellent film.
Campy, clever, and fun. It's like the Toby Maguire spider-Man movie with more social/political themes.
Solid movie, at the time of 2000 it was great, but viewing it now it has aged.
One of the better X Men movies.
Truthfully, I wasn’t in awe of this movie. I think that the concept between the mutants and humans is interesting and creative, but the characters and plot didn’t grab me. Xavier and Magneto’s relationship is very complex, which keeps the movie intriguing; however, at times it is too inconsistent. The same is to be said with Mystique/Raven, who’s history is intertwined with Xavier’s as well. Furthermore, the special effects are now a bit dated, which makes the movie less impressive than it could be. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this movie to other viewers, as it really wasn’t something I would watch again. @PenelopeScriptor of the Teen Review Board
The beginning of the 2000s marked the start of one of the biggest superhero franchises, X-Men. As Marvel's first attempt to bring these heroes to the big screen, even today this film is still great. Professor X is able to give you enough background information that the viewer isn't lost not knowing what's happening in the plot. I really liked Rouge as a character, but I wish she was given more screen time. There's also a great soundtrack that perfectly fits the movie. The concept of mutants in the Marvel Universe seems quite interesting, and I look forward to how they will continue to develop the series. 4.5 Stars

The first live action X-Men Movie and marvel's first take to bringing the widely known comic series onto the big screen, while an older movie it is still great with its great acting and plot building. While many things won’t make sense unless you’ve read the comics at first, the Movie does explain everything you need to know in a quick yet informative manner. While the movie also tends to follow only one character throughout the majority of the movie, it still allows you to get a full concept of this Marvel World. I would recommend this to anyone who hasn’t already seen it and enjoys action movies, for thats what this is.
