Already devastated by loss, Bourne is shattered by a report that his last friend in the world, Martin Lindros has gone missing. A CI deputy director, Lindros was in Ethiopia tracking suspicious shipments of yellowcake uranium and atomic bomb weaponry. His last lifeline to humanity, Bourne will not let Lindros go. Despite his hatred for CI, Bourne sets out to rescue his friend and finish the job: dismantling a terrorist network determined to build nuclear armaments by cutting off their source of money. But Bourne doesn't realize that these men, Islamic supremacists, are leaders of an incredibly dangerous, technologically savvy group with ties from Africa, across the Middle East, and into Eastern Europe and Russia. They have predicted Bourne's every move, and are counting on his unwitting help in their plans to destroy America.

This large print edition is gross.. I wipe everything that enters my house..washing this book was gross.

Some brown crud on front pages, coffee chocolate or SH&?..splashed throughout the pages & the back of the book had cigarette butt stuck to it & black stone dirt on last pages & back cover..

My husband is seriously worried about bedbugs

I have to return this book tomorrow.

Will read the small print version.

totally un-believable. Jason Bourne served in Nam and now he's present day, riding motorcycles, shooting guns when he's supposed to be 60-70! give me a break! this series is totally wrung out. Ludlum is the ultimate master and it should have ended there. This is a tired series. please end it!

With this the second Bourne book from Van Lustbader the writing in my opinion gets better. More exciting and faster paced. In this book we are introduced to Soraya Moore (a senior case officer). In future books we watch her career advance. This book has a lot of twists - all in all a good read.
