Add a CommentIn the final pages of the book, Blume admits that this is an autobiographical piece told as historical fiction in order to capture elements of her youth. Sally is a relatable and sympathetic character, full of adventure and imagination.
Probably my favorite book from my formative elementary school years.
This was my favorite book when I was in sixth grade.
