This is a beautiful book. The plot is rather slow, but the characters are where the author draws the reader's attention. Conveying an important truth, Oke creatively enlightens the reader through a well crafted story. The characters are nicely developed and there are many portions of the book that will stir the reader's heart for this young woman named Damaris.

I love this book! and if you read the Virgina books you we like this one!
