I definitely wouldn't classify this as a teaching book, because there is no real "cause and effect" or lesson. It's just fun stuff chained together in a relevant manner to make a cute story. My girls really liked the pig more than the others.

I love this series. I love the concept that teaches children about cause and effect. I love the illustrations and the cute characters. The story of this book did not grab me as much as the others, but I wouldn't leave it out if you are collecting the series.
Would I recommend this book? YES

Kids in preschool story time were excited for this one before I even started reading. It kept them engaged and interested.

this was my faviourite book when i was 8 years old

The girl is like a mom, and the pig a daughter, interesting perspective to give.

My kids love the If You Give A.... stories. We've been reading this one several times a day since we took it out.
