Against all obstacles, Rosie stays young at heart through the love and friendship she shares with her teenage daughter. This movie stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Saoirse Ronan, Paul Rudd, and Stacey Dash and is about an older working mother who finds love through a much younger man. In the meantime, her daughter is discovering love for herself. I found this romance/drama somewhat sweet and charming in some ways as the mother learns to let go and open herself up to love. I didn’t like the way some scenes were shot or certain casting decisions that were made, but I found the movie to be one of the better romantic films in the past fifteen years. I would rate this movie 3.5/5 stars.

I almost turned this movie off thinking that it was just another lame, romantic comedy. I'm glad that I didn't because I ended up really enjoying it. It was funny and entertaining.

Boring. Another movie with a great actress but bad movie plot. Only watched maybe twenty minutes then ejected the movie. Sorry I waited so long for this disappointment.

Great romantic comedy! I'm sorry to hear that it didn't go to the theatres and went straight to DVD. That's what happens to most movies these days. Paul Rudd and Michelle Pheiffer were excellent. The character "Izzie" was very funny. I recommend it for a girl's night out, or even a date night! :)

This very enjoyable movie got a bum deal. It couldn't get any theatrical distribution and so went straight to DVD. But it deserved better. It's a very funny, woman's-eye view of growing older and trying to stay attractive. Excellent performances. The movie also gives an off-kilter view of television production.

I found this one by accident when I was looking for something else, and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The acting is decent and the script is very good. I would recommend this to fans of romantic comedies.

Light-hearted, goofy, and enjoyable. Wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did.

Rosie: So that's how it ends? The most powerful male gets the most babelicious female?
Mother Nature: That's right.
Rosie: Well, what if there's a really cute male antelope, or a female that shows signs of leadership?
Mother Nature: Useless.
Rosie: Why?
Mother Nature: Look, there's an order to this mating business.
Rosie: Why can't we change things?
Mother Nature: Haven't you self-centered, pec-loading assholes changed enough? It's not natural!
Rosie: What's so great about natural?
Mother Nature: What?
Rosie: Think about it. Tobacco is natural, Prozac's unnatural. Earthquakes are natural, television's unnatural. Natural sucks!

Rosie: Remember when we had that talk about you being 29? I keep thinking about how... *young* that is.
Adam: Well, I'm planning on getting older.
Rosie: [laughs] Yeah, well I'm not planning on getting younger.
Adam: That's just being stubborn.

Izzie: How do you make a positive number turn negative?
Rosie: Take away its Prozac and put it with a bunch of smaller numbers.

Rosie: Please tell me you're wearing shorts under that.
Nathan: Yes. They're just cut really high. Besides, I've got good legs and a great butt.
Rosie: Yeah, well, you know that's what everyone says "There's Nathan, what an ass."
