Adam
Book - 2008
FBI behavioral psychologist Daniel Clark has been made famous by his arguments that religion is one of society's greatest antagonists. What Daniel doesn't know is that his obsessive pursuit of a serial killer known only as "Eve" will end in his own death at Eve's hand. Twenty minutes later Daniel is resuscitated, only to be haunted by those twenty missing minutes of life. It soon becomes painfully clear that the only way to stop Eve is to recover those missing minutes by dying . . . again. What isn't nearly as clear is just how many times he will have to die to discover the truth, not only about Eve, but about himself. To stop the killer, Daniel will have to face haunting realities about demon possession in the modern world--and reevaluate his own prejudice against religion.--Publisher description.

Add a CommentOutstanding! The suspense in this book had me reading into the late hours of the evening. Not as much horror as it is thriller for me. Excellent writing and keeping the reader captivated.
I am a huge fan of Ted Dekker and have read many of his books. Although I can say that this wasn't one of favorites, I think it was still super suspenseful. As a Christian, the demonic possessions disturbed me but gave me an insight of things that do not usually happen in today's world. The writing was well arranged, and the plot twists and action was superb. A thumbs up from me!
I am a fan of Ted Dekker
I don't feel this was his best book but it was very good, lots of action suspence and a very powerful ending 4 stars for sure
I finished reading this book and I felt like the author threw everything he could think of at the plot, hoping that something would stick. Really bad
This is my first time reading Dekker and I really liked this book BUT they really push the Christian agenda good vs evil at the end of the book. I am a Christian and I thought it was too much so I reduce my rating to 3 stars.
this is one amzing book
To anyone brave enough to read this book, this could be a life and game-changer.
