I gave this only three stars, not necessarily on its own lack of merit, but, to register the disappointment I feel to learn that the original I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, did not make the cut as far as being allowed to join 'our' collection. the peoples' collection (uh huh). as far as I'm, concerned, the four principal actors, Jennifer, Freddie, sarah, and johnny, might not have had a career in Hollywood, had they not been in the first film (see above). and, oh yeah, anne heche has an important scene, in addition. note the lack of chemistry between herself and the two lead actresses. no chrissie-martina action, there. by the way, I would give I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER at least 4 and a half stars: the script was written by the great Kevin Williamson. I know, I know, there wasn't a dark skinned person to be seen in it. but then , there wasn't a dark skinned person to be seen on an equal footing in Alexander Hamilton's drawing rooms, either. Brandy wasn't that big of a name: where is she now, by the way? could I say that she was no more than a flash in the pan? but did it make the oprahs of the world happier that they were represented in the sequel? You betcha. Brandy's not a bad actress. She's no vampire slayer, though. Freddie Prinze jr. is in this one, though relegated top sub plot status. Galecki was hardly in the first one, and he wisely snagged a role in the perennial sitcom, as Sheldon's roommate, BIG BANG THEORY.

Glad the library purchased this title. Sad they did not approve the first movie. Hard to believe for me that the book this movie is based on was included on our primary school recommendation list. My parents did not approve of getting me the book.
Gives you chills if watching for the first few times. I have been watching it for dozen times, still returning to it, for I like the actors, music and plot.
