Add a SummaryTess Davies is an eighteen year old servant to the Lisle family. While on an errand, Tess meets up with unexpected danger. She is confronted with a black wolf that seems intent on hurting her. The only thing that saves her is a young man who steps between her and the wolf, telling the wolf to leave and strangely it does. Yet before she can thank the young man who saved her, he tells her that she must leave post haste or she will die. Frightened, Tess returns home.
When the Lisle family takes leave to New York aboard the Titanic, Tess again meets the young man. He is Alec Marlowe, heir to the Marlowe steel company, and although she knows nothing can ever happen between them, she can't help by be drawn to him. But Alec has a secret. He is a werewolf, and not the only one on board.
Can Alec be freed from the curse of changing each and every night? Can he escape the Brotherhood; a collection of werewolf thugs? Can the love that Alec and Tess have for each other overcome all the obstacles in their way and finally be together?

Add a CommentHistory, romance, werewolf's?! What's not to love! I was hooked from the first chapter. As the book continued my eyes were opened to a whole new world. I love writing and this book inspired me, it made me realize that a story can be told as if the people in it are sitting right next to me telling me about their lives, and that I can write like that myself. To my fellow writers or anyone: Try, even if you don't think you can. You might realize that you are smarter than you thought.
I was quite disappointed with the novel . Though I do appreciate the fact that the author did her best to include historical facts.
Oh My GOSH!!!!!!! This was an amazing read. No one can resist doomed romance Once Claudia Grey gets going, this book is breathtaking! I'm not one for paranormal romance, but when you tie it in with the Titanic, it's a must!!! My new favorite book! Please read it!
I rate this book an 'ok' read because I couldn't really get into the story as much as I wanted to. In fact, I didn't finish it. The author's style of writing didn't appeal to me. Others have really liked it, but I found it too one-dimensional. Not a lot of depth to the story or characters. If it weren't for the dramatic setting - the sinking titanic - I don't think it would be memorable.
OMG I LOVE THIS BOOK AND I LOVE HOW CLAUDIA GRAY ALWAYS USES VAMPIRES OR WEREWOLVES.If u liked this book and u haven't read the evernight series u should sooo read the evernight series.
Claudia Gray has done a wonderful job with this book. Alex and Tess live out a wild and haunting journey on the Titanic. Really liked the book and wish Claudia would write a sequel. Werewolves and romance, but with a different twist.
I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD THIS BOOK!!! at first i was iffy about it because of the history of the Titanic, but i instantly fell in love with Alec && Tess. hoping for both of them to get past everything!! i loved it and would re read it again and again!!! big thumbs up to Claudia Gray
AMAZING!!claudia gray is an amazing author and this book was......AMAZING!!
love it! this story plot was totally UNEXPECTED!!! and the setting makes the story even better!
This book is not just a werewolf story, but a werewolf story on the Titanic. I still can't decide whether that's doubly cliche or absolutely brilliant. Besides that, I found that it was neither terrible nor wonderful, although it is rather descriptive, and sounds like it follows the culture of the time. All in all, not exceptional, but a good read all the same.
