With Trump's rise to power I've been forced to follow Chris Matthews' "Hardball" each weeknight; Trump is the accident I can't look away from. This book, despite flaws, is a good supplement to everything I've previously read and heard. It's interesting to read it now, after even more White House turnover, as some of the sideline characters in Fire and Fury have emerged as headliners in recent news. Also interesting, and something which I'd not got previously, is a much better understanding of Bannon, a deeper comprehension of why the various White House sides were warring, and even a much clearer picture of what Trump believes he is saying when he says "fake news". So the book was a good companion/supplemental piece to all this informed reader already knew. Were I not as up to date on the subject I think it would be a bit difficult to understand.
