I Must Say

My Life as a Humble Comedy Legend

I agree with a previous reviewer - I think this book plays much better as an audiobook, read by the author. I can see how readers may find the book a lot of name-dropping but in the context of how Mr. Short reads it, it doesn't come across that way in the audiobook. There is a lot of laugh-out-loud humour and anyone who has any interest in the wonderful world of SCTV, you will enjoy the many references made. The book is well-paced and the author frequently goes into character mode - one of the wonderful features of the audiobook - you get to hear Ed Grimley and Jiminy Glick! It is anything but humble, but from what I gathered about Mr. Short's style of humour, I believe the title is intended to be funny. I would definitely recommend this audiobook to anyone who enjoyed SCTV and the early years of SNL (remember when it was good?)
