As the holidays grow near, reading books like this is like savoring my favorite cookie. They are sweet, but they also evoke the feelings of the holidays and give us the warm fuzzies, which is welcome as the days grow colder. Charlotte and Anthony have both been dumped and they serendipitously meet at JFK. Charlotte is dismayed at the prospect of a night alone in a random hotel room while she waits for her flight back to London. Anthony is reluctant to join his family for reasons we find out later in the book. They decide to follow the advice of a self-help book and forget their exes. A night of adventures ensues and NYC becomes a main character in the story. I picked up this ARC mostly due to the plot occurring in NYC at Christmas. It did not disappoint. A big thanks for the opportunity to read this digital copy in exchange for an honest review.
