I LOVED the style of the prose of this book, and the way the author describes things makes you feel like you are really there. Towards the end, there are a few sad parts, and the author succeeds in giving you a feeling of loss. I thought the premise of this book was interesting, because I love wolves, and I thought it was cool that the werewolves were wolves in winter and humans in summer as opposed to the full moon thing. I really liked the characters Beck and Shelby, and I thought the cover design was BEAUTIFUL. However, I didn't like the love at first sight romance, and Sam and Grace's 'perfect' love story was a bit annoying. It was kind of weird how it said that she was in love with him while he was a wolf and she didn't even know he was a human? Grace was a bit of a cliche character, I didn't like her much. Sam was okay, I guess, a little too perfect and nice, though. I know it's a series, but I kind of wished Sam had actually died or stayed a wolf in the end. I hated how they were all like, 'oh, yeah, he's going to stay a wolf forever, definitely, there's no way he could turn human again, oh no, so sad' and then suddenly he was HUMAN AGAIN WOW HOW DID THAT HAPPEN OH WAIT I KNOW BECAUSE IT'S FICTIONAL, and there wasn't that much of a plotline, mostly just romance... But the book does grip your attention and keep you glued to the page with the skillful writing. So... I don't really know what I think of the book. I would definitely recommend reading it, though.
